Business Development Manager

About the Role

We’re hiring a brand new business development member to support the growth of the DC Group nationally. The team will be selling office supplies, coffee machines and facilities management solutions to new clients, principally face to face. If you have at least 2 years solid sales experience selling corporate services to medium-large sized organizations (public or private sector) this could be an outstanding opportunity for you!

 

Responsibilities:

  • To Represent DC Group in a professional and positive way.
  • Pro-actively develop new business opportunities, through effective lead management and conversion as well as lapsed clients.
  • Drive the entire sales process, from sourcing leads via social media, cold calling, site visits to closing the opportunity.
  • Seek to up-sell or cross-sell related products and services to existing, lapsed and new business
  • Work as part of a team and contribute to shared goals and objectives
  • Achieve challenging productivity targets to meet internal business KPI’s
  • Achieve and exceed Customer care standards and activity expectations
  • Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets and KPI performance areas
  • Adopt the Sales Process and load orders onto back office system
  • Targeting medium to large size companies with an annual spend of 25-250k per annum.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in a performance related sales role ideally at a company that provides fm services .
  • Outstanding Verbal and written communication skills
  • Used to working hard and hitting targets
  • Experience of building professional relationships
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Necessary experience in managing workload, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • A proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets through a B2B sales role.
  • The desire and drive to succeed with the ability to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • An understanding of fact finding and the consultative sales process
  • Cold calling/Social Media
  • Closing a deal
